Cachapa is a typical corn-based dish from Venezuela. Due to migratory exchanges with Venezuela, it is also considered typical in the Canary Islands. It is cooked in a budare.

This typical dish comes from the indigenous people who populated the Venezuelan territory , who worshipped corn as a religious gift from the earth.

It is usually eaten with queso de mano, but you can also accompany it with guayanés cheese, telita, butter or various combined ingredients.
